Library Renovations at the Eddie Koiki Mabo Library

The Learning, Teaching and Student Engagement Directorate is excited by the renovations currently underway in the ground floor of the library. The renovations will support many of our diverse learners.

A new purpose built service centre for AccessAbility staff will allow much improved services for students with disabilities and health conditions.

Students enrolled in the the now coordinated pathway programs – Diploma of Higher Education and Tertiary Access Course – will have access to specialised support from the refurbished area as well as access to their core teaching staff.

The renovations will also allow learning advisors ready access to students and a home for the student mentor program.  The area will also provide a coordinated hub for staff support in blended learning.

We thank everyone for the patience as the renovations are finalised.  We look forward to a celebratory opening.
