Happy Birthday, Beatrix Potter!

Beatrix Potter was born on the 28th of July, 1866.  She is, perhaps, best known as the author of many beloved children's books including The Tale of Peter Rabbit, and The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin, but she was also a scientific illustrator and studied mycology.

You may not expect to find The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies at a university library, but we actually have most of Potter's children's books in our Curriculum Collection.

We also have some books collecting letters she wrote to various people, and some biographies written about her over the years.

Oh, and if you're not on campus, we also link out to digitised copies of her works.

Have a look at these One Search results to see just how much Potter you can find at our library.

Please note, students and staff currently working outside of Australia and Singapore may experience difficulty getting the full text of our subscribed resources.  If so, please follow the instructions on this page to get access: Connect to the JCU VPN.
