Revisiting Informit

How long has it been since you last looked at Informit? This is a highly reputable database aggregator and indexing/abstracting service with Australian content that James Cook University has subscribed to for years.

Informit itself has sixty databases which can be selected individually from our Databases pages, or it is possible to search across all Informit Databases simultaneously. This is an ideal primary database to look for information on humanities, business and health within Australia, and to locate citations on published relevant journals, books and conferences.

Once you have located the reference, then click on the Find it@JCU button, or search OneSearch to see if we hold the article or chapter.

Don't forget to search our catalogue for the title of the book or journal.

Sniper is a database within Informit which collates information on intellectual property. In a fast growing and important field for research and creative industries, this is one database of interest to us all.
