Latest addition to Research Online for January 2014.

If you wish to read research by JCU staff and higher degree researchers, there is a place to go to find records of their past and current work. It is discoverable at ResearchOnline@JCU the online institutional repository for James Cook University, and is developed and maintained by Library and Information Services. It contains a growing collection of publications and creative works which form the University’s archive of research outputs of staff and higher degree research post graduate students. You can learn more about it and see a live feed of new items at our ResearchOnline@JCU LibGuide. Current and previous research is continually being added by library staff as it becomes available.

A recent addition to the records is Accounting for agriculture in place-based frameworks for regional development: discussion paper by Jim Turnour, Connar McShane, Michelle Thompson, Allan Dale, Bruce Prideaux, and Margaret Atkinson (2013). The abstract indicates this paper is part of  project between the Cairns Institute, James Cook University and the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation. The full paper should be available to download. You can browse ResearchOnline@JCU by author, school or keyword to see other related work.  Contact a staff member of Library Infohelp to show you how to manipulate the searching tool effectively.

The records from ResearchOnline@JCU are mined by Research Portfolio where you can see a fuller description of a researcher’s activities. Read about Research Portfolio an initiative of Research Services.
