Colin Roderick Award

The winner of the Colin Roderick Award for best book published in 2014 will be presented on Tuesday 13 October 2015. This prestigious award, along with the HT Priestley Memorial Medal, is presented for the book that is judged to be the best book that was published the previous year and that involves Australian life.

The shortlisted books for 2014 are:

• The Europeans - Alan Atkinson
• Six - John Clanchy
• This House of Grief - Helen Garner
• In Certain Circles - Elizabeth Harrower
• The Bush - Don Watson
• Wild Bleak Bohemia - Michael Wilding.
