Thursday 17th of March 2016 is St. Patrick's Day and is a celebration of all things Irish, from the rolling green hills to the upbeat songs and dances.
As the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick is credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland and for chasing the snakes out.
A book of interest for economic students about Ireland is:
Towards a Second Republic: Irish Politics and the Celtic Tiger
by Peadar Kirby and Mary P. Murphy
So why not take the opportunity on St. Patrick's Day to brush up on your knowledge of Ireland, put on your green shirt and get your Irish on.
