Library Gorilla, Algernon, found

On Thursday afternoon a librarian made the grizzly discovery of the body of Algernon, the library gorilla in the reading lounge area of the James Cook University Townsville campus library. It appeared that he had been struck by a blunt instrument. There is speculation that the gorilla had made enemies in the library because of his vocal stance in favour of converting the first floor of the library into a replica central African jungle. A stance that put him offside with Infohelp librarians. Algernon had support for his plan from a number of biologists at the University. Professor Plum was heard to remark "A jungle would be perfect, I get everything on google now anyway". Investigations continue.

We don't want to ruin your relaxing semester break, but we have some terrible news - Algernon is no more!! Would you be able to help us work out who killed him? We know he was killed in the library, possible with a candlestick. Was it Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs Peacock, the Reverend Green or Mrs White? We just don't know, but we have collected some wise words from various detectives. Maybe reading some of these will help! They are on display on the first floor of the Townsville Mabo library near the Infohelp desk.
