On the Edge: visions of a tropical coastline

The Cairns Campus Library is currently hosting an art exhibition, On the Edge: visions of a tropical coastline.

The twelve artists in On The Edge share an intimate geographical connection to the lush and culturally diverse coastal edge of the far north. This exhibition is an expansive vision, exploring differences and connecting perspectives of a unique tropical sea coast to expose a rich and definitive creative impulse within our reach.

Presented by the James Cook University Library, the School of Creative Arts and the School of Law. This exhibition project has been supported financially by the Queensland government through Arts Queensland’s Backing Indigenous Arts program as well as the Regional Arts Development Fund of Cairns Regional Council in partnership with Arts Queensland.
