Many of the JCU theses in print format, also available online or in microform, previously held in a closed access collection available only by request, are now available within the Library on open shelves near the Reference Collection, first floor, Eddie Koiki Mabo Library, Townsville. Library users now have open, self-access to this important collection. The change will allow the print versions of JCU theses to be more visible and accessible for use within the Library.Many theses are also available online from JCU ResearchOnline@JCU.
Those theses with special conditions regarding their use and/or only available in print are still located in Special Collections and are available upon request. These are listed as Theses SC in Tropicat, the library catalogue.
