We thought the approach of ANZAC day was a good opportunity to bring some of the Curriculum Collection books out for a spin.
If you come up to the first floor of the Eddie Koiki Mabo Library, you'll find a display near the InfoHelp desk showcasing the "Australians at war" resources we hold in Curriculum.
The Curriculum Collection is a model school library, which is designed to hold books suitable for students from K-12, as well as teacher resources like textbooks and kits.
All of the books in the Curriculum Collection are available for loan - and you don't have to be an Education student to borrow them. In fact, it can be one of the best places to find a book to read (for fun), as it's much easier to browse than the literature section.
For those of you who have never found your way to the Curriculum Collection before, it's on the first floor, down past the Reference Collection and the microform. It takes up a cosy little corner next to the CDs and Sheet Music.
There's a very similar collection in Cairns. It's on the top floor of the building, next to the Book collections (almost diagonally opposite the Journals).
