JCU Research on sustainability was identified as well above world class in the Federal Government's Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) 2010 national report, published by the Australian Research Council earlier this year. The two subject areas recognised with this highest possible ranking are Environmental Science and Management and Fisheries Sciences.
To celebrate this achievement, the Library has a Sustainability Research @ JCU display in the Library. The display includes a selection of books and research articles from the Library’s collection, each of which is written by JCU researchers or has contributions by JCU researchers.
