Indifferent Inclusion: Aboriginal People and the Australian Nation
by Associate Professor Russell McGregor
Dicipline Co-ordinator (History), JCU

Russell McGregor's new book offers a holistic interpretation of the complex relationship between Indigenous and settler Australians during the middle four decades of the 20th century. He combines perspectives of political, social and cultural history in a coherent narrative, providing a cogent analysis of how the relationship changed and the impediments to change.

This book looks like an interesting read, as it explores a period that hasn't been examined in-depth in light of current societal understandings.

Indifferent Inclusion: Aboriginal People and the Australian Nation will shortly be available for loan from both the Cairns and Townsville campus libraries.
