Advance Australia Fair

This Thursday 26 January is Australia Day. Traditionally Australians use this day to get together with friends and family - often over drinks, at a barbecue, at the beach, or at a public event. Have a look at the Australia Day website to find an Australia Day event near you.

Getting into the Australia Day spirit, the Mabo Library, Townsville is currently featuring an Australia Day display on the first floor.  The display features some great books about Australian history, social customs, sport, culture, and the environment. Come in and have a look.
