If you wish to read research by JCU staff and higher degree researchers, there is a place to go to find records of their past and current work. It is discoverable at ResearchOnline@JCU the online institutional repository for James Cook University, and is developed and maintained by Library and Information Services. It contains a growing collection of publications and creative works which form the University’s archive of research outputs of staff and higher degree research post graduate students. You can learn more about it and see a live feed of new items at our ResearchOnline@JCU LibGuide.

Current and previous research is continually being added by library staff as it becomes available. A recent addition to the records is the 2013 book Penal culture and hyperincarceration: The revival of the prison by Chris Cunneen, Eileen Baldry, David Brown, Mark Brown, Melanie Schwartz and Alex Steel. We hold a physical copy in the library at call number 365.94  CUN in the main collection and the first 34 pages are available online at ResearchOnline@JCU.
