lynda.com available to all JCU staff and students

The University has purchased a site licence for lynda.com that provides online, course-based video instruction for information technology, business, communication, design, education and creative skills. The 3,000+ courses and 130,000+ videos are geared to beginner, intermediate and advanced users. It is self-paced and tracks your progress, remembering what section of each course you've got to. Try it out now to learn how to create pivot tables in Excel, a table of contents in Word, wireframing a website design, creating complex graphics, etc.

You can access lynda.com using your JCU account, through the JCU Library A to Z database listing, via the Library & Computing web site the Learn drop down menu on our web site and through One Search. To assist with subject access, the JCU Library will also import courses into One Search and the JCU Library Catalogue and embed them in Subject Libguides.
