Tomorrow, February 11, is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This is a day recognised by the United Nations that promotes the importance of both science and gender equality.Women and girls have long been under-represented or excluded from participating in the world of science, and while the last decade has seen a more focused effort to engage and involve women and girls in science, there is still a long way to go.
