52 Book Challenge - Week 10

We're up to week 10! If you've been playing along, that means you've read nine books so far this year and you're about to embark on the tenth challenge, which is...

10. A book published in the 20th Century

Actually, that's quite an easy challenge. Maybe even easier than some of the earlier challenges.

Next week's challenge is a bit harder, so we might give you some early advice on that one instead. Next week you'll be challenged to read:

11. A book set in your hometown/region

Now, this can be a tricky one to find. Probably the easiest way to do it is to use One Search and look for your home town/region (e.g. Townsville/Cairns or Queensland) and fiction (unless you want to find a non-fiction book), and narrow your options to languages & literatures in the DISCIPLINE section.

If your hometown/region is in North Queensland, you can also try a sneaky search in our catalogue. If you drop down the search option from Keywords (all fields), you can find NQ subject keywords. Search for "fiction", and you'll find a list of fictional works we have in the North Queensland collection - many of which are also in the main collection.

So remember, this week you need a book published in the 20th century, next week you need a book set in your hometown/region.
