New eBook: Contemporary Health Issues on Marijuana

Each week recent purchases are placed on the new book displays inside the library, and eBooks are made immediately available to use. Some eBooks require logging in with your JCU username and password; additional software will need to be installed to download books to a digital bookshelf. With Medical Marijuana recently in the news, this new e-book Contemporary Health Issues on Marijuana edited by Ken C. Winters and Kevin A. Sabet has a mine of information from recent studies.  It covers topics such as the clinical characteristics of marijuana, driving impairment, medical use, and policy implications.  The book includes recent research on the health implications and medical use but notes the pressing need for high quality research.  Whilst it has an American viewpoint this book thoroughly covers the major issues related to marijuana.
