Wednesday 22 May 2019 is Earth Day, an international day for environmental movement to educate and diversify the environment. Now in its 49th year, the theme for 2019 is 'Protect our Species'. The impact of human development is affecting the millions of species that live in the environment with numbers drastically reducing and more species classified as endangered or extinct.The Earth Day website has lots of information and resources about the day and how you can be involved in protecting the environment.
