Although the world is a little different this semester due to the effects of COVID-19, the Library is open for business, both online and on campus. Hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes are available on every floor for your use, and we ask that you observe social distancing of 1.5 metres for the wellbeing of all library users. You can keep up to date with changes to library services due to COVID-19 on the library website.
As always, the library’s online resources are available anywhere, anytime. You can search One Search or the library catalogue for print and online resources, find subject-specific resources in our subject guides, and improve your research skills using our online guides and workshops.
Our workshops include:
· Keys to Academic Success – an introduction to searching and referencing
· Getting the most from the library
· ORCID for HDRs
· Finding Information for Assignments
· APA 7th Referencing
· AMA Referencing
Visit our Guides, Workshops and Events page to register. Daytime and night-time sessions are available.
The library staff are here to help, from assistance with researching and referencing for your assignments to sorting out your passwords and setting up your WiFi. Our friendly InfoHelp Rovers can help you with basic IT questions. You can connect with us via online chat, by phone, email or in person at the InfoHelp desk.
Last but not least, you can stay in touch with us via social media to hear about upcoming events, research tips and tricks and, yes, quite a few cat memes.
