Library Opening Hours Townsville


The Eddie Koiki Mabo Library in Townsville will begin opening from 1pm - 5pm on Saturdays in the lead up to Study Period 1, 2023. 

Opening hours for the Library on the Bebegu Yumba campus from 4 February - 20 February 2023 are as follows:

Eddie Koiki Mabo Library

  • Monday - Friday: 8am–5pm
  • Saturday: 1pm–5pm
  • Sunday: CLOSED

The Information Commons is available after hours, accessible by swipe card.

Cairns Campus Library 

  • Library Building
    • Monday - Sunday: 7:30am - 10pm
  • Library Services
    • Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm 
Your JCU student or staff card is needed to access the building outside of service availabilities.
