Did you know 43% of Australians suffer mental distress or illness in their lifetime (ABS, 2023)? Thursday, 10 October 2024, is World Mental Health Day. The theme of World Mental Health Day for 2024 is "Mental Health at Work", and at JCU we are preparing our graduates to step into the work force – so what better way to help you prepare than by highlighting some of our valuable Library resources?
Mental health is an important part of your overall health and wellbeing, and whether you are studying psychology, medicine or nursing, JCU Library can help you succeed in your studies and support you, your family and your friends' mental health! We have a number of resources including books, articles, videos and more that focus on mental health, and are available to all current JCU staff and students.

- PsycARTICLES (ProQuest) – PsycARTICLES offers full text, peer reviewed articles published by the APA Journals and affiliated journals providing access to 119 journals across the spectrum of psychology including addiction, developmental psychology, gender and sexual orientation, social psychology and more.
